English from Zero

This is to be an account of how I teach S. English from zero, that is it is to be a record of how S. learns English having two or three lessons per week. I only start tomorrow, but there has already been a certain amount of discussion of this mini venture on the dogme list. I hope to be copying that here later today. I've been very sceptical about blogs and what they can do that an email list can't. So this will also be an exploration of the usefulness or otherwise of writing an account of a small teaching and learning project and making it available to anyone who wishes to make comments.
